My Bio
Sorry, but I hate this part of any site. I'm a fan fiction writer who is trying to decide if I want to get paid for what I write (original work) or just have fun with what I like. I have a 'day job' so money isn't an issue. If it was, I'd probably starve waiting for my first book to be published anyway. The competition is fierce!

Favourite Movies
Phantom of the Paradise, Man on the Moon, Most Steven Spielberg movies
Favourite TV Shows
Work nights so I don't watch much t.v.
Favourite Bands / Musical Artists
Josh Groban, Barbra Streisand
Favourite Books
Left Behind series, Fannie Flag Novels,
Favourite Writers
Jerry B. Jenkins, Fannie Flagg, Stephen King
Tools of the Trade
Computer, pens and notebooks, and sometimes even my electric typewriter
Other Interests
blogging, fan fiction writing
Hi.   This won't be much along the lines of a 'personal' post.   I just got home from watching a movie I grew up with, and this Halloween, Phans will be celebrating (I hope) BIG TIME.  Don't know what all is going to be happening, but I'm looking forward to finding out.   In the meantime, if anyone is interested in collaborating on fan fiction (from the drawing end) please let me know and I can send the link for what I've written so far.  Just so's you know, I don't work 'blue'.  From the Phantom side, 1974 is as close to 'blue' as I'm gonna go.  There's plenty around already.

Thank you for faving my PatB fan-art.
No problem! I love Pinky and the Brain, as the show.... character wise, I'm pro-Pinky.  Speaking of which, let me know if you'd like to read my PatB fan fiction   (A Mouse Named Pinky) .  :excited:
Ooops. Forgot. Thanks for the link!
Hi Clap   Oy!  Sorry it took me SOOOOO long to reply. I forgot my password. Anyway, I was searching for a pic of Snowball, for a blog post, and came upon some really nice pics from this place. So I reset my password and wrote it down.

I've seen some great art, that could lend itself to wonderful stories.  Brain with a girl mouse who was modeled after Manerva Mink.  Well, if it'll stop him from abusing Pinky and get him over himself, I'm all for it. That mouse SOOOO needs therapy! :happybounce:
Hi all!!! I've seen a fair bit of Phantom of the Paradise-based art here,  as well as some Animaniacs stuff.  Truth to tell, I'm looking for someone who would be willing to collaborate with me on an online project by way of cartooning PotP with Animaniacs characters.

I've heard it said that Phantom of the Paradise is like a Warner Brothers Cartoon done in live action, so it would be soooo cool to have the character cast of Animaniacs in PotP roles. ....
For example..... Maurice LaMarche as BRAIN as SWAN.  Would anyone be interested in drawing Brain as Swan in his reveal scene?  Seriously, if I had it, I would pay some major bucks to see that!  :happybounce:

Then again, If I had Steven Spielberg's money, I would ......

have some great fun with a beloved movie, mingled with some wild and crazy friends, from the 2nd golden age of WB animation.

PLEASE know that this is ALL in FUN. No offense is intended. I'm just dreaming out loud, here.  I saw some great voice over character actors doing a read through of Star Wars in various characters and it was to die for, funny!!!! They threw in Paul Lynde, Dudley Moore, Christopher Walken, and a host of other iconic character vocals.

In this version, (should it happen, and April 2005 and 2006 made me believe in miracles) I would likely suggest  that the actors stay in their singular character, since PotP is a shorter movie than Star Wars.  But that's just me.

For the songs, I would ask the Warner animation department to do animated replicas (with Mr. DePalma's permission) of the scenes where full songs are involved. Imagine Dot, as Phoenix, dancing that dance after singing Special to Me. Everyone would be having a Potty Emergency!  :D

   Alll righty then...to the cast.

And the last shall be first.....

  As the Juicy Fruits....

*Jeff Bennett as Peppi Le Pew as Juicy Fruit 1 .Goodbye Eddie Goodbye

*Rob Paulsen as Yakko Warner as Juicy Fruit 2. Upholstery
*Jess Harnell as Wakko Warner as Juicy Fruit 3. Somebody Super Like You (he could SOOOO pull that off!)

*Chick Vennera as Pesto as Philbin.

*Bob Bergen as Porky Pig as Beef. How's THAT for NOT type-casting.

**** I would SOOOOO love to hear Maurice LaMarche as Brain as Swan. Picture this guy with long blonde hair, glasses. Dang! Where was this guy in 1974?

*Tress MacNeille as Dot Warner as Phoenix. Imagine Dot in Phoenix's audition-wear. But then, she ends up having a fling with Brain.

*And..... Billy West as Bugs Bunny as Winslow Leach/Phantom... Given Bugs' talent for disguises, this would work.

Like I said, this is all in fun. However....if you are familiar with the movie as well as the WB cartoons, and you have a talent for drawing, you can take a crack at drawing these characters in their PotP guises.  Brain, as Swan, in the first scene you see him in.... PLEASE draw that picture, someone!  I'd mug Steven Spielberg to get that picture!  Okay...not really, but it would still be fun to see. And, if your imagination is really good, you can hear Maurice, as Brain, singing The Hell of It as the actors are shown, in studio, recording the songs to their characters.  Like I said, 2005 made me believe in miracles.  If someone in high places reads this and likes the idea... who knows.  I'm trying to imagine how Billy West would sound, as Bugs, performing Winslow's Faust.
